The Communication Division of the Seaver College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences at Pepperdine University is seeking a Tenure-Track faculty member in Sport Administration to begin August 1, 2027. The position requires a Ph.D. in Sport Management, Sport Administration, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution by the appointment date. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in Sport Administration, such as Sport Event and Facility Management, Sport Finance, and Sport Analytics, blending theory with practice to prepare students for the sport industry. The role emphasizes using real-world examples, case studies, and innovative learning experiences. The candidate will also mentor and advise undergraduate students, potentially assist with the Sport Administration student association, curriculum assessment and design, and oversee student internships. A strong commitment to developing sport industry opportunities for students is highly valued.
