The School of Psychology Counseling and Family Therapy (PCFT) at Wheaton College is seeking a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology to join the core faculty of the doctoral programs in clinical psychology. Position responsibilities begin July 1, 2026, and include teaching, scholarship, mentoring and advising, and precepting of clinical training. The core faculty position includes significant teaching and mentoring opportunities crucial to the development of the next generation of Christian faith-integrative clinical psychologists. We seek a candidate who is energized to collaborate in preparing doctoral students for excellence in service to individuals and communities impacted by healthcare disparities and those traditionally marginalized in society. Qualifications include a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, clinical psychology licensure (or licensure eligible within one year), experience teaching at the doctoral level, a developing program of study with published research within the discipline (quantitative or qualitative), evidence of the ability to guide and support the timely completion of high-quality student dissertations, and active professional practice (broadly defined). Areas of teaching and practice specialization are open; expertise in either cognitive or psychodynamic assessment and practice is desirable.
