About The Position

The University of North Texas at Dallas (UNT Dallas) School of Business invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Management starting in Fall 2027 (possible start in January 2027 could be considered). Faculty with teaching interests in Project Management, Entrepreneurship, Organizational Behavior, or Strategy are especially encouraged to apply. This is a full-time, tenure-track position, responsible for teaching four (4) courses per semester. The successful candidate will be expected to achieve excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. We seek candidates who are committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service.

Requirements

Doctoral degree in management or another closely related area. ABD will be considered.
Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching.
Demonstrated potential or effectiveness in scholarship.
Experience with online and/or hybrid teaching formats.
Evidence of ability to contribute to the positive culture of our school, university, and community.

Nice To Haves

Academic experience working on a campus with culturally diverse students, staff, and faculty.
Experience in developing both face-to-face and online courses.
Experience in curriculum development and program assessment.

Responsibilities

Teaching four (4) courses per semester.
Produce quality scholarship.
Participate in service activities, including program development, course development, program assessment, and committee leadership.
Provide instruction in a range of management courses.
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in face-to-face, hybrid, and online modalities.
Engage in high-quality research and scholarship relevant to their teaching discipline.
Engage in university, professional, and community service.
Support student success and career development initiatives.
