About The Position

Xavier University’s College of Nursing is seeking experienced, innovative, and highly motivated candidates for a full-time, non-tenure-track faculty position beginning Spring 2027. The faculty member will teach in the College’s graduate nursing programs, with assignments based on program needs and the candidate’s specialty areas. The primary teaching assignments are in the online DNP program and the in-person MSN Direct Entry as Second Degree (MIDAS) program; assignments may also include BSN and other MSN programs. Teaching may take place in classrooms, online, and/or laboratory or simulation settings. Undergraduate and accelerated programs are traditional on-campus programs requiring faculty presence, while online graduate programs require some on-campus presence. This is a 12-month faculty position, with teaching assigned across fall, spring, and summer semesters. A 9-month position may be considered, although 12 months is preferred. Faculty will contribute to curriculum and course development and evaluation, clinical experiences, test construction, student learning assessment, student advising, nursing scholarship, professional development, and college and university service. The College seeks faculty who will advance Xavier’s Jesuit Catholic mission and foster an academically rigorous learning environment grounded in ethical leadership, compassion, and service.
