Xavier University's College of Nursing seeks an experienced, innovative, and highly motivated full-time, non-tenure-track faculty member to teach in its graduate nursing programs, beginning Spring 2027. The position primarily involves teaching in the online DNP program and the in-person MSN Direct Entry as Second Degree (MIDAS) program. Depending on program needs, the faculty member may also teach in BSN and other MSN programs. Desired specialty areas include DNP, the pre-licensure second-degree accelerated MSN clinical nurse leader track, and MSN core; expertise in multiple areas is highly desirable. Teaching may take place in classrooms, online, and/or in laboratory or simulation settings. Undergraduate and accelerated programs are traditional on-campus programs requiring faculty presence, and online graduate programs require some physical on-campus presence. This is a 12-month faculty position, with teaching assignments in fall, spring, and summer semesters. A 9-month appointment may be considered, but a 12-month appointment is preferred. Clinical areas of expertise include public health and leadership. The College of Nursing is part of Xavier Health, an integrated university health initiative that supports collaboration across disciplines. Xavier University is a Jesuit Catholic institution, and the College seeks faculty who will advance its mission through teaching and service. Faculty are expected to foster a learning environment grounded in academic rigor, ethical leadership, compassion, and service. Xavier University is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Applicants must submit a cover letter, resume, and the names and contact information of three professional references through the university website. Applications will be reviewed immediately and accepted until the position closes at the University's discretion.
