About The Position

Xavier University's College of Nursing seeks an experienced, innovative, and highly motivated full-time, non-tenure-track faculty member to teach in its graduate nurse practitioner programs, beginning Spring 2027. The primary desired teaching specialty is Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP); Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner expertise is also preferred, and expertise in multiple specialties is highly desirable. The faculty member will teach in the online, asynchronous MSN nurse practitioner tracks and may also teach in the BSN program or MSN core based on college needs. Teaching may take place in classroom, online, and lab or simulation settings. A 9-month appointment may be considered, though 12 months is preferred. The faculty member will contribute to curriculum and course development and evaluation, clinical experiences, test construction, student learning assessment, coordination with colleagues and clinical agencies, scholarly work and professional development, student advising, and faculty, program, college, and university activities and committees.
