About The Position

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at The University of Texas at Arlington, College of Engineering, is seeking an open-rank Academic Professional Track (non-tenure) faculty member in Computer Science. This position can be appointed at the rank of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, or Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Instruction, depending on qualifications. The role involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses within the Computer Science curriculum. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach in areas such as Programming, Algorithms and computational complexity, Programming languages and compilers, Computer graphics, and Parallel and GPU computing. The typical teaching load is 12 credits per semester. Academic Professional Track faculty are expected to be active in departmental life, including mentoring students, advising on senior design projects, and contributing to curriculum development and innovation. Requirements

Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a related area (for Professor of Instruction ranks)
M.S. degree in Computer Science or a related area (for Lecturer ranks)
Ability to teach at the university level in one or more of the following areas: Programming, Algorithms and computational complexity, Programming languages and compilers, Computer graphics, and Parallel and GPU computing.
