About The Position
The Physical Education Teacher Education program at the University of South Florida College of Education prepares aspiring educators to teach about the importance of developmentally appropriate movement concepts and skills for students in K-12 schools. The program aims to promote community-engaged educators who can meet the needs of a variety of students and foster transdisciplinary approaches to research, teaching, and service for impact. The program focuses on the local and global needs of our rapidly changing world and partners with communities to work towards access for all. Physical Education offers degree programs at the undergraduate and master’s levels, as well as minors in the science of physical activity and athletic coaching.
