About The Position
The Department of Economics in the College of Arts & Sciences at Texas A&M University is seeking to fill one position at the rank of tenure-track Assistant Professor in the field of Economics of Health / Health Economics. This position is a 9-month full-time academic appointment with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2027. All appointees are expected to be committed to teaching and research of the highest quality.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in economics or a related field
Responsibilities
- Publishing in leading journals
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses
- Supervise graduate students
- Participate in the applied microeconomics workshop
- Serve on an appropriate department committee
- Be involved as a member of Ph.D. dissertation committees
