About The Position
The Program in Creative Writing in the Department of English at The University of Alabama invites applications for two tenure-track Assistant Professors of English in Creative Writing, open genre. The faculty members will teach in the MFA program and undergraduate creative writing minor. The typical teaching load is 2/2 plus thesis direction. Teaching includes undergraduate and graduate workshops, as well as self-designed creative writing courses. Faculty are expected to participate in the life and culture of the program. Positions begin August 16, 2027.
Requirements
- MFA or Ph.D. in Creative Writing.
