Requirements
- Completion of a US-approved residency in Anesthesiology or equivalent training and certification.
- Completion of a Fellowship in Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Management or substantial experience in the area.
- Board Eligibility or Certification in Anesthesiology (equivalence to board certification can be determined on a case-by-case basis).
Nice To Haves
- Research experience is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Performing and supervising all commonly utilized peripheral and neuraxial nerve block techniques.
- Managing acute pain patients and acute-on chronic pain patients in an inpatient setting.
- Supervising residents and fellows.
- Performing procedures independently when required.
- Participating in academic activities of the department, including teaching and mentoring trainees.
- Participating in departmental conferences and faculty meetings.
