Moody Bible Institute is seeking a ministry-minded educator to join our Undergraduate School as an Assistant Professor of Applied Theology on our Chicago campus. This is an opportunity for an experienced pastoral leader and gifted teacher to help students connect biblical truth with real-world ministry while preparing them for faithful and effective service in the church and beyond. Moody Bible Institute is a Christ-centered higher education and media ministry dedicated to equipping people with the truth of God's Word. For more than a century, Moody has prepared students for Christian service through biblically grounded education, spiritual formation, and practical ministry training. Our faculty play a vital role in that mission by combining academic excellence with mentorship, discipleship, and meaningful student engagement. As an Assistant Professor of Applied Theology, you will teach, mentor, and develop students pursuing ministry and pastoral leadership. You will serve within the Applied Theology and Church Ministry Field, supporting programs such as pastoral ministry, biblical preaching, youth ministry, ministry leadership, children and family ministry, and ministry to women. In addition to teaching a standard faculty load, you will advise students, contribute to curriculum development, participate in faculty and institutional service, and engage in scholarship and professional development. Opportunities may also exist to teach online or within Moody Theological Seminary based on institutional needs and qualifications.
