The University of North Florida, in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a Assistant Professor, Methodologist for the College of Education and Human Services. This faculty member will teach in the educational leadership and curriculum and instruction EdD programs as well as other research courses in other graduate programs. Our graduate students' research interests span higher education, PK-12 education, and community settings. The faculty member will be expected to maintain an active research agenda which includes a strong record of research publications, presentations at academic conferences, and applications for external funding. The faculty member will provide guidance and support to students (e.g., mentoring masters and doctoral students, supervising dissertations, developing research projects, etc.). Additionally, the faculty member will apply the Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate (CPED) framework, guiding principles, and applied research methodologies (e.g., program evaluation, action research, and improvement science) teaching and mentoring of doctoral candidates. Position requires a Ph.D. in educational research methodology or a closely related field. Experience conducting quantitative or mixed methods research is required.
