About The Position
The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. The selected candidate will have an interest in translational research aimed at advancing our melanoma and skin cancer immunotherapy research program. Faculty on the Clinician-Educator are expected to demonstrate a strong record of scholarly productivity.
Requirements
- M.D. or equivalent degree.
- Board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology.

Responsibilities
- Teaching hematology/oncology fellows, medical residents and medical students.
- Provide education, mentorship, and research support to hematology/oncology fellows.
- Caring for patients with melanoma and other skin cancers in an outpatient setting.
- Serve as an attending on the inpatient service (solid oncology, cellular immunotherapy, or both) at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP).
- Focusing on translational research to enhance the melanoma and skin cancers immunotherapy research program.
- Scholarly productivity is required on the clinician educator track.
