About The Position
The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania is seeking candidates for Assistant Professor positions on the academic clinician track. This role requires specialized expertise in gastrointestinal cancers. The position involves teaching responsibilities for fellows, residents, and medical students, with an expectation of 100 credits per year dedicated to active and high-quality teaching. Clinical duties include managing gastrointestinal cancer patients in an outpatient setting and attending on the inpatient solid tumor oncology service at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Requirements
- M.D. or equivalent degree.
- Board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology.
Responsibilities
- Care of patients with gastrointestinal cancers in an outpatient setting.
- Care of general solid tumor oncology patients as an attending on the inpatient service.
- Teaching hematology/oncology fellows, residents, and medical students.
