About The Position

Texas A&M University-Victoria is seeking an Assistant Professor in Graphic Design to teach undergraduate courses in communication design and studio design, both online and in person. The role involves developing a computer-based graphic design program with an emphasis on UX and UI, participating in curriculum development, pursuing creative and professional activities, and performing university and professional service. The position is part of the College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences, specifically the Multidisciplinary Studies department.

Requirements

  • Master of Fine Arts
  • 2 years’ experience teaching university-level courses in graphic design

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate courses in communication design and studio design, online and in person.
  • Develop computer-based graphic design program and courses that emphasize UX and UI.
  • Participate in curriculum development.
  • Pursue creative and professional activities.
  • Perform university and professional service.
  • Other duties assigned by the Dean of College and Chair of Multidisciplinary Studies department.
