About The Position
The Department of Economics at Miami University invites applications for two tenure-track assistant professor positions. Duties include teaching courses at the undergraduate and Master’s level, publishing original high-quality research, advising students, and engaging in service. The Department of Economics, which is in the Farmer School of Business, has approximately 500 undergraduate majors and 15 students in its Master’s of Economics program. High quality teaching and research are both valued in the department, which is composed of approximately 25 tenured/tenure-track, teaching, and visiting faculty.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in economics or related discipline by date of appointment
- Research interests in applied microeconomics
- Research interests especially in health economics
