About The Position
The Department of the Geophysical Sciences at the University of Chicago invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor across all areas of Earth and Planetary Science. We seek individuals who will lead world-class research programs and enhance the intellectual endeavors of the department and the university. Ongoing research interests and activities can be found on the department website. Note: The Department is carrying out a parallel search in the general area of Earth and Planetary Materials for candidates whose research focuses on geochemistry, geophysics, cosmochemistry, planetary evolution, or related fields. Requirements
- Completion of all requirements for the PhD in Earth or planetary sciences or a related field prior to appointment is required.
