About The Position
The Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine at UT MD Anderson in Houston, Texas is recruiting an anesthesiologist over the next 6-12 months. This is a full time academic anesthesiology position at the rank of Assistant Professor, Clinical Faculty Appointment (CFA), and will initially carry a 90% clinical effort.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years as Instructor or minimum 5 years post degree with any combination of time as a clinician, clinical scientist or GME trainee.
- Board certified in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (or approved foreign equivalent) and actively participating in the Maintenance of Certification Program, or in the examination system with the ABA.
- Possess an unrestricted Texas medical license in good standing before onboarding.
- Ability to satisfy and maintain all requirements necessary to ensure the continued security and integrity of critical infrastructure.
Nice To Haves
- Fellowship specialty training with experience in academic anesthesiology is strongly preferred.
