Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Special Education or related field with principal certification required
  • Valid PA Special Education teaching certification required
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in an educational setting related to the instructional process required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid PA driver’s license and car insurance

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coach and Develop Educators: Use the Framework for Teaching to observe, evaluate, and support teachers through meaningful feedback and individualized growth plans.
  • Lead Instructional Excellence: Oversee curriculum development, alignment, and continuous improvement to ensure high-quality instruction across all classrooms.
  • Support New Teachers: Manage the Teacher Induction Program and mentor new educators to set them up for long-term success.
  • Drive Student Success Programs: Plan and supervise Extended School Year (ESY) and credit recovery programs.
  • Build Strong Partnerships: Serve as a key liaison between families, school districts, advocates, and staff—facilitating collaboration and communication.
  • Ensure Compliance & Operations: Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to all educational and legal requirements.
