About The Position

Work closely with the Principal and other members of the leadership team to uphold the school's mission, vision, and values while supporting the academic and socio-emotional growth of our diverse student population.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field (required).
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in elementary or middle school settings.
  • Prior experience in a leadership role, preferably as an assistant principal or instructional coach.
  • Knowledge of curriculum development, assessment practices, and educational research.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Valid administrative certification or license (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teachers to ensure high-quality instructional practices aligned with state standards and the school's curriculum.
  • Support the implementation of effective teaching strategies, differentiated instruction, and assessments to meet the needs of all students.
  • Provide instructional coaching and professional development opportunities for teachers to enhance their pedagogical skills.
  • Establish and maintain a positive school culture conducive to learning and growth.
  • Implement and enforce disciplinary policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Work with teachers, counselors, and support staff to address individual student needs and behavioral concerns.
  • Assist in the development, evaluation, and alignment of curriculum, instructional materials, and assessments.
  • Analyze student performance data to identify areas for improvement and inform instructional decision-making.
  • Foster positive relationships with parents, guardians, and community stakeholders through regular communication and involvement in school activities.
  • Organize and facilitate parent workshops, meetings, and events to promote family engagement and support student success.
  • Serve as a liaison between the school and external organizations to leverage resources and opportunities for students and families.
  • Assist the Principal in day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and staff supervision.
  • Participate in school leadership meetings, committees, and professional development activities.
  • Collaborate with the Principal to ensure compliance with charter school policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards.
