About The Position

Montessori Country Day School is seeking an Assistant Primary Teacher to support a positive, safe learning environment for children. The role assists with implementing age-appropriate curriculum, preparing and organizing learning materials, and supervising children during activities, meals, and naptime. The teacher helps lead learning activities, monitors children’s development, and contributes to a harmonious environment for children and fellow teachers. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Starting pay is $19 per hour, depending on education and experience. Montessori Country Day School is part of Endeavor Schools, which operates more than 100 schools in 14 states.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center.
Prior experience with toddlers and preschool students.
Ability to use standard office equipment, such as a laptop computer and tablet.
12 Child Development Units.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Patience, a nurturing attitude, and a sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners.
