About The Position

Heritage Montessori - Huntington Beach, part of Endeavor Schools, is hiring a temporary Assistant Primary Teacher. The teacher assists with implementing age-appropriate curriculum, preparing and organizing learning materials, and supervising children during activities, meals, and naptime to maintain a safe, positive learning environment. The role also involves supporting children’s development and growth, monitoring their progress, and helping create a harmonious environment for children and fellow teachers. The school describes a supportive workplace with resources for educators, career development programs, and opportunities for advancement. The position pays $17.00–$21.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.

Requirements

12 Child Development Units, required by the State of California.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Patience, a nurturing attitude, and a sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners.
Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet.

Nice To Haves

Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center.
Prior experience with toddler and preschool students.
