About The Position

The Learning Experience is seeking a caring, creative, and dedicated Assistant Preschool Teacher to help create a positive, engaging learning environment where children can learn, play, grow, and thrive academically and emotionally. This is an entry-level role supporting early childhood education and care. The Assistant Preschool Teacher partners with other preschool teachers to implement the company’s proprietary curriculum and uses its characters and resources to make learning engaging. The role also helps maintain classroom quality, health, and safety standards; contributes to a welcoming daycare environment; and communicates children’s activities and achievements to parents and families. The Learning Experience describes its curriculum as focused on six ages and stages of early childhood development, using hands-on activities that encourage children to explore and solve problems at their own pace. The franchise is independently owned and operated, and hiring decisions are made by the franchisee.

Requirements

Genuine passion for the education and care of children.
High school diploma or GED.
Meet applicable state licensing requirements for the role.

Nice To Haves

Early childhood education coursework is preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with preschool teachers to implement the proprietary curriculum and use engaging characters to support children’s learning, play, and growth.
Maintain quality-compliance, health, and safety standards in daycare classrooms and programs.
Collaborate with peers to create a positive working environment and a welcoming, engaging space for children.
Communicate with parents and families about children’s activities and achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions.
