About The Position

Kid Works is seeking an Assistant Toddler Teacher to support teachers and families in providing children with a home-away-from-home experience in accordance with NAEYC guidelines. The role involves working with children ages 6 weeks to 12 years and helping maintain a safe, warm, clean environment where children can grow and explore.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
• Assist teachers with classroom instruction.
• Decorate classrooms inside and outside as needed.
• Maintain a warm, safe, and clean environment that allows children to grow and explore.
• Interact with children to encourage participation in activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child.
