About The Position
The Pack Lead Assistant supports the Pack Lead in daily production operations, employee coordination, line setup, quality standards, and food safety compliance. This position serves as the primary backup to the Pack Lead in their absence.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Pack Lead with assigning daily positions to production employees
- Help coordinate and cover production breaks
- Print and manage all case and pallet labels
- Helps verify product codes and ensure correct label codes on cases
- Assist with LOTO procedures during cleans and help lead cleaning activities
- Assists with notifying the warehouse of materials needed
- Track and manage waste for the shift
- Set up production lines with proper equipment
- Train and develop new employees through established processes
- Participate in daily sensory audits with the production team
- Review production schedules and prepare for changeovers
- Ensure production lines are running at optimal speeds
- Work with the Quality team to ensure products meet customer expectations
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management
- Ensure all personnel and equipment follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Correct issues when possible and report unresolved concerns to appropriate supervision or management.
