About The Position

The Assistant Outlet Store Manager supports the Outlet Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the new San Marcos Outlet Store, opening Fall 2026. As an on-the-floor leader, you will help deliver a Signature Customer Experience while supporting sales performance, coaching and developing associates, and ensuring operational excellence. You will lead by example on the sales floor, helping create an engaging shopping experience while supporting the overall success of the store. This outlet location will feature Waterford, Wedgwood, Georg Jensen, and Royal Copenhagen brands. The Assistant Outlet Store Manager will develop extensive knowledge of our brands and products to confidently engage customers, build brand loyalty, and drive sales.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of retail leadership experience, preferably in a specialty, premium, luxury, or outlet retail environment.
  • Demonstrated success driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Experience coaching and developing retail associates.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, inventory management, and loss prevention.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales performance and identify opportunities to improve results.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • English required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with premium or luxury brands preferred.
  • Associate's degree in Business, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Spanish preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of store associates.
  • Coach and motivate associates to achieve sales and customer service goals.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and help foster an inclusive, collaborative team environment.
  • Lead daily store operations in the absence of the Outlet Store Manager.
  • Deliver an exceptional luxury customer experience that reflects the heritage of our brands.
  • Lead by example by providing personalized service and expert product recommendations.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
  • Support a culture that consistently delivers a Signature Customer Experience.
  • Support the achievement of store sales goals and key performance indicators.
  • Monitor daily sales performance and identify opportunities to improve results.
  • Drive conversion, Average Transaction Value (ATV), and Units Per Transaction (UPT).
  • Help execute sales initiatives, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained throughout the store.
  • Support inventory accuracy through receiving, replenishment, cycle counts, and stock organization.
  • Assist with merchandising updates and promotional displays.
  • Support opening and closing procedures, and POS transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, safety standards, and asset protection practices.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-ready store environment.
