Assistant Nursing Manager (ANM) - Telemetry
About The Position
The Assistant Nursing Manager (ANM) for Telemetry assists and supports the Director by supervising, planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and controlling activities. The position requires knowledge of all aspects of patient care services work. The Nurse Manager is responsible for efficient day-to-day department operations and the optimum use of resources to maximize productivity and minimize costs. Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center is seeking an innovative, experienced healthcare leader to support exceptional patient outcomes and operational success. The hospital is a 199-bed acute care facility within the Palm Beach Health Network and serves Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive management experience in an acute health care setting.
- Knowledge of the Florida Nurse Practice Act and Joint Commission requirements.
- Knowledge of infection control practices.
- Knowledge of quality improvement practices.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification approved by the American Heart Association.
- Florida RN license.
- NIH Stroke Certification.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in nursing or a health-related field preferred.
