About The Position

The Assistant Nursing Manager (ANM) for Telemetry assists and supports the Director in supervising, planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and controlling activities. The position requires knowledge of all aspects of patient care services work. The Nurse Manager is responsible for the efficient day-to-day operations of the department and the optimum use of resources to maximize productivity and minimize costs.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of progressive management experience in an acute health care setting.
• Knowledge of the Florida Nurse Practice Act and Joint Commission requirements.
• Knowledge of infection control practices.
• Knowledge of quality improvement practices.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications approved by the American Heart Association.
• Florida RN license.
• NIH Stroke Certification.

Nice To Haves

• BS in nursing or a health-related field preferred.
