The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a clinical leadership position responsible for providing clinical supervision and coordinating unit clinical operations. The ANM has oversight accountability for patient care and nursing practice on their assigned shift and unit(s), focusing on delivering high-quality clinical outcomes, a positive patient experience, and engaging staff in a financially responsible manner. This role acts as a leadership extension of the Clinical Director and adheres to all hospital policies and procedures, including the Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, while providing safe and therapeutic care aligned with hospital culture. The position involves a systematic process for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care services to deliver excellent person-centered care, facilitating the organization's philosophy, goals, and policies. Patient Care Services is supported with ongoing professional development, bidirectional communication, and guidance to continuously improve person-centered care delivery.
