About The Position
Baptist Health is hiring an Assistant Nurse Manager to join our Emergency Department team at Baptist Emergency at Town Center in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time night shift opportunity. Scheduled shift: 7:00pm-7:00am. This freestanding emergency center delivers efficient, high-quality care in one of Jacksonville’s busiest areas. This role is ideal for nurses who value teamwork and a streamlined patient care environment. Baptist Health’s care for the community spans generations. Requirements
- 3–5 years Nursing Experience
- Medical Surgical and Telemetry Experience
- Leadership and Charge Nurse Experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing
- Licensed Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities
- Works closely with the direct care staff during their shift to deliver quality patient care
- Is an expert clinical resource
- Facilitates the admission, transfer and discharge flow
- Takes a lead role in implementing changes
- Supports and coaches staff development
- Makes shift to shift patient care assignments
- Takes a direct patient care assignment, as needed
- Assists the Nurse Manager with unit/area operations
