About The Position

Baptist Health is recognized as a top place to work in health care and has been caring for more patients in Northeast Florida than any other provider for over 30 years, ranking as “most preferred.” As Jacksonville's only locally governed, faith-based, not-for-profit health system, Baptist Health offers a full spectrum of preventive and specialty care through over 200 locations and six hospitals. Their centers of excellence include Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center, Baptist Heart Hospital, Baptist Neurological Institute, and Wolfson Children's Hospital. This role provides for patient needs using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement, including the organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care with ancillary services. It involves educating patients and their significant others/families about their disease process and plan of care, serving as a patient advocate, and providing care to patients requiring treatment for any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical conditions and minor injuries or illnesses. Baptist Health's commitment to the community spans generations, focusing on innovative health care, improving health equity, and fostering a welcoming workplace where every team member's voice is heard.
