About the Role: As the Assistant Nurse Manger of Clinical Operations, you will play a key leadership role in the Emergency Department, driving operational excellence and supporting a collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare team. This full-time night position is backed by an experienced leadership team. The schedule includes four-night shifts per week with flexibility to support work-life balance. As part of the leadership team, you will also participate in a rotating on-call schedule.

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree required.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Required Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Nice To Haves

• Previous leadership experience preferred.
• Emergency Department experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the unit Manager to develop and implement action plans focused on quality and safety improvements, care affordability, and enhancing patient and team member experiences.
• Lead the execution of these action plans and systematically evaluate their effectiveness.
• Contribute as a member of the interprofessional team, fostering an environment where the team is motivated to achieve exceptional patient outcomes and organizational excellence.
• Advocate for and promote evidence-based practices and professional nursing standards to advance nursing practice.
• Onboard and train new team members.
• Participate as a member of the leadership team for a 24/7 operational unit, which includes responsibilities on weekends and holidays.
