The Assistant Nurse Manager I utilizes the nursing process to effectively assess patient needs, identify a plan of care, and implement and evaluate the care given. This role involves providing direct and indirect care to patients and leading the patient care team toward goal achievement in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy. The Assistant Nurse Manager also leads employees to accomplish all job objectives, inspiring confidence and motivation to enhance employee satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • RN license active in the state of Missouri
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate effective leadership abilities
  • Exhibits valuable time management skills
  • Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment

Nice To Haves

  • At least five years of clinical experience
  • One year of charge nurse experience
  • One year experience in the area of specialization

Responsibilities
