The Pediatric and Women’s Services unit cares for general medical/surgical Pediatric patients as well as adult GYN patients. We are committed to providing high quality care in a family centered care atmosphere. Focused on daily Interdisciplinary Rounding to provide great communication between team members and families. Skilled RN staff with 9 patient beds and a 6-week orientation for nurses. Join us in truly making a difference in the lives of our babies and families! Nursing skills gained on this unit: Pediatric specific trained. PALS and BLS Breast feeding education. Our focus is on creating a culture of a healthy work environment, interdisciplinary collaboration, and quality patient outcomes. Through continuous efforts, collaboration, and dedication to patient safety, we have achieved notable progress in minimizing patient harm. Our nursing team has seen numerous members recognized with the Daisy Award, a testament to the abundance of caring and compassionate individuals among our nurses. Active Unit Based Council PAWS has an amazing team of dedicated nurses and secretaries who work to support one another while delivering exceptional care to their patients. Requirements

  • Requires Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

  • Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
