This position is for a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Nurse Assistant Trainee in the Women and Newborn department, working the night shift. The role involves providing basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff, including taking vital signs, bathing, dressing, moving patients, and changing linens. The CNA will also obtain information on patient condition and report any changes. For qualified candidates, there is a sign-on bonus, front-loaded paid time off, and a relocation bonus. A career ladder is also available. The Nurse Assistant Training Program functions within a classroom and clinical learning environment to train unlicensed assistive personnel. While in the clinical setting, trainees provide basic patient care under supervision and perform duties within their scope of practice. A competency assessment will be administered at the end of the training.
