About The Position

The Assistant Manager helps lead store operations by coordinating delivery drivers and customer service representatives, maintaining appropriate staffing, and ensuring orders are prepared and delivered quickly and correctly. The role includes opening and closing duties, customer service and dispute resolution, delivery logistics, vehicle inspections, cash and receipt collection, and promoting products and specials. The Assistant Manager also receives cross-training in food preparation and other store procedures and helps foster a team-oriented, energetic, and fun atmosphere.

Requirements

Ability to speak and write clearly.
Ability to use a computer-based order entry system.

Responsibilities

Lead delivery drivers and customer service representatives to expedite orders quickly and correctly.
Maintain staffing levels that reflect business needs throughout the day.
When closing, make end-of-night bank deposits and perform nightly product inventory counts.
When opening, ensure the store is properly set up and ready to receive orders at opening time.
Promote a sense of urgency with every order.
Resolve disputes and work to make unhappy customers returning customers.
Collect money and signed credit card receipts from delivery drivers at the end of their shifts.
Ensure delivery vehicles pass mechanical and visual inspections.
Assist with routing delivery drivers to maximize customer service while meeting Domino’s standards for on-time delivery.
Uphold Domino’s grooming, uniform, and appearance standards.
Promote pizza products, specials, and promotions.
Receive cross-training in preparing products and ingredients, opening and closing procedures, operating the pizza oven, and boxing products for delivery or carryout.
Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers over the phone and in person.
Contribute to and promote an atmosphere of teamwork, energy, and fun.
