About The Position

Dandy is hiring an Assistant Manager for its convenience store in Odessa, New York. The Assistant Manager demonstrates leadership and positivity for the team, supports the Store Manager, and helps provide excellent customer service throughout the guest experience. The role communicates with the Store Manager about store operations, staff performance, scheduling, training, and other important functions. The Assistant Manager must be prepared to cover any or all Store Manager responsibilities when the Store Manager is absent.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent in education or experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Outlook and internet applications.
• Demonstrated ability to assume managerial responsibilities.
• Valid driver's license.
• Complete a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and background check to be considered for employment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend and reach, frequently lift 10–20 pounds, and occasionally lift 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience in the retail industry is preferred.
