About The Position

DSI Security Services is hiring Security Officers in Odessa, Texas. The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, their employees, and the public through professional, attentive conduct and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. Available shifts include first, second, third, and weekend shifts.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Have a valid driver's license.
Have reliable transportation and a means of communication.
Have intermediate computer skills.
Have effective written and verbal communication skills.
Be able to conduct routine foot patrols, lift moderately, and work in all weather conditions.
Meet all preemployment requirements, including a criminal background check, motor vehicle screening, and drug screen.
Hold a Texas Security License.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols.
Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity.
Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions.
Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
Complete required reports and documentation accurately and on time.
Participate in training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals.
