About The Position

DSI Security Services is hiring Security Officers in Odessa, Texas. The role helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, their employees, and the public through visible presence, routine patrols, and attentive, professional service. Officers follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions, respond to hazards and incidents, and complete accurate and timely documentation. The position requires participation in training and compliance with DSI safety procedures and manuals. The listed pay is $18.03 per hour. Available schedules include first, second, third, and weekend shifts. Required screenings include a criminal background check, motor vehicle screening, and drug screening.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Have a valid driver's license.
Have reliable transportation and a means of communication.
Have intermediate computer skills.
Have effective written and verbal communication skills.
Be able to conduct routine foot patrols, perform moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions.
Meet all preemployment requirements.
Have a Texas Security License.
