About The Position

Circle K is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee Stationstore operations in a fast-paced retail environment. The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager with staffing, daily tasks, bookkeeping, merchandising, customer service, and execution of the food program. The role requires regular and predictable onsite attendance and an ability to lead by example while maintaining high standards and providing fast, friendly service.

Requirements

Ability to lead a team of employees and management.
Skills in delegation and follow-up, teaching and motivating others, planning and organizing, and communicating plans and ideas.
Cash-handling and bookkeeping skills.
Problem-solving, advocacy, empathy, and safety and security skills.
Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
Ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes in a shift, and occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level.
Ability to push or pull with arms using up to 20 pounds of force.
Ability to bend at the waist with some twisting for up to one hour per shift.
Ability to grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands; handwork requires eye-hand coordination and may require climbing a ladder.

Support bookkeeping and merchandising.
Maintain high standards and provide fast, friendly customer service.
Execute the food program.
Provide regular and predictable onsite attendance.
Set an example for staff by demonstrating urgency, patience, and leadership.
