About The Position

City Hall Steak and Cocktails in Jenks, Oklahoma, serves fresh seafood, classic American dishes, and chef-inspired specials made with locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant aims to provide guests with an unforgettable dining experience in a refined yet comfortable atmosphere. The Assistant Manager role is described as overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations. Responsibilities include managing front- and back-of-house staff, maintaining exceptional guest service, managing budgets and expenses, maintaining food and beverage quality, ensuring regulatory and food-safety compliance, overseeing inventory, and resolving service issues.

Requirements

Experience as a Restaurant Manager.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional customer service orientation.
Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including food and beverage knowledge.
Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings.
Knowledge of local health and safety regulations.
Proficiency in restaurant POS systems and MS Office.
Certification in food safety and responsible alcohol service.

Responsibilities

Recruit, train, and manage front-of-house and back-of-house staff, and foster a positive and motivated work environment.
Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high service standards, addressing guest concerns, and promoting a welcoming atmosphere.
Manage the budget, monitor expenses, maximize revenue, and help implement cost-control measures without compromising quality.
Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and service.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations, and monitor and enforce sanitation and food-safety standards.
Oversee inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation.
Address issues that arise during service promptly and professionally.
