Assistant Manager - Waterloo
About The Position
The Assistant Manager oversees all aspects of operating a retail and food location. The role includes hiring, training, and scheduling 20–60 coworkers; working in the kitchen; overseeing food safety, ordering, inventory control, profit and loss (P&L), cleaning, and stocking. Assistant Managers are typically scheduled for 45 hours over a five-day workweek and receive time and a half for additional hours worked beyond 40 in a week. The position offers a full pay range of $54,500 to $81,800. Actual pay depends on qualifications, skills, competencies, role proficiency, and internal equity. Kwik Trip also shares 40% of pre-tax profits with coworkers through bonuses that range from 8–12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage, depending on company profitability.
