Assistant Food Manager - Waterloo Area
About The Position
Kwik Trip is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and positive Assistant Food Manager to oversee the store’s food program and help serve the community. The role includes preparing food, delegating tasks, training coworkers, resolving customer complaints, setting an example of excellent customer service, helping the team achieve daily goals, and assisting with merchandising. The Assistant Food Manager is responsible for helping ensure consistently high-quality customer service. This role is based in the Waterloo area, offers a variable shift, and requires full-time availability (40 hours per week), primarily on second shift. The position involves working in a fast-paced store environment and maintaining a clean and inviting store. Requirements
- Available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, primarily on second shift.
- Great people skills.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to solve challenges and shift priorities quickly.
- Desire to help others.
- At least 6 months of food experience, including customer service and food preparation.
- Ability to motivate others to complete tasks and meet goals.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk or stand for 8–10 hours per day.
