About The Position

The Assistant Manager operates equipment; stocks ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler; prepares products; receives and processes telephone orders; takes inventory and completes related paperwork; and cleans the equipment and facility approximately daily. The role also involves delivering products by car to customers’ doors and distributing flyers and door hangers. The position requires navigating the designated delivery area, including adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying products.

Requirements

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain and delivery sites while carrying products.
