About The Position

The Assistant Manager supports the store manager with daily operations, team leadership, and delivering exceptional customer service at the store located at 135 N Madison Road, Orange, Virginia. The role includes helping achieve sales targets, training and motivating team members, managing inventory and schedules, maintaining merchandising and cleanliness standards, enforcing company policies, supporting loss prevention and store security, and contributing to strategies to improve store performance.

Requirements

Proven experience in retail or customer service, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide team members.
Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating positive customer experiences.
Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office and POS systems.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Basic understanding of financial management and inventory control.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and achieving sales targets.
