About The Position

The Assistant Manager supports store operations, including operating equipment; stocking and rotating ingredients from delivery to storage and work areas; preparing products; receiving and processing telephone and internet orders; counting inventory; completing paperwork; and cleaning equipment and the facility. Training includes customer service orientation, an interactive computer program, and hands-on practice. The role requires communicating with customers and coworkers verbally and in writing, both over the phone and in person. It also involves safely driving a personal vehicle for pizza deliveries, navigating roads and maps, and carrying products across varied terrain and stairs at delivery sites. Accurate basic arithmetic is needed to make correct monetary change, with a calculator available if needed.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with customers and coworkers, over the phone and in person.
• Ability to safely drive a personal vehicle and navigate roads, maps, varied terrain, and stairs while carrying products.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately to make correct monetary change; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, reaching, and grasping.
