About The Position

The Assistant Manager leads delivery drivers and customer service representatives to ensure orders are expedited quickly and correctly. The role maintains staffing levels that match business needs throughout the day and supports store opening and closing procedures. The Assistant Manager also helps resolve customer disputes, oversees delivery operations, and upholds Domino’s standards for service, appearance, and order timeliness.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of delivery drivers and customer service representatives to ensure orders are expedited quickly and correctly.
Maintain staffing levels that match business needs throughout the day.
When closing, make end-of-night bank deposits.
When closing, complete a nightly product inventory count.
When opening, ensure the store is properly set up and ready to receive orders at opening time.
Promote a sense of urgency with every order.
Resolve disputes and help ensure unhappy customers become returning customers.
Collect money and signed credit card receipts from delivery drivers at the end of their shifts.
Ensure delivery vehicles pass mechanical and visual inspections.
Assist with routing delivery drivers to maximize customer service while meeting Domino’s standards for on-time delivery.
Uphold Domino’s standards for grooming, uniforms, and appearance.
Promote pizza products, specials, and promotions.
