About The Position
The Assistant Manager reports to the Store Manager and assists with all aspects of store operations, providing leadership to optimize sales results. The role promotes a positive customer shopping experience and leads and inspires a high-performing team to improve operational efficiency and drive traffic on the sales floor and through digital platforms. The Assistant Manager contributes to daily store operations, inventory management, sales, customer satisfaction, and maintaining brand and visual merchandising standards. Responsibilities also include shipment processing, sales floor replenishment, and e-commerce order fulfillment.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- 2 years of management experience, preferably in a fashion clothing environment.
- Passion for fashion, an outgoing personality, and passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Flexibility, innovation, and a sense of urgency in identifying and responding to changing business conditions, including contributing impactful ideas and solutions.
- Ability to encourage participation, creativity, and learning by sharing best practices and building on others’ ideas.
- Ability to build partnerships and prioritize collaboration.
- Social media skills and mobile device skills.
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or OpenOffice skills.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, according to business needs.
