About The Position

The Assistant Manager is responsible for running effective shifts, caring for customers, working toward store goals, assisting the General Manager with business operations, and leading team members during shifts. The role requires upholding store policies and the brand image while serving as an ambassador and role model. This is an hourly position with competitive pay and bonus opportunities. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must pass a criminal background check.
Strong communication and verbal skills.
Outgoing, positive, upbeat attitude.
Ability to stand, walk, sit, carry, use machines, and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Run store shifts and lead team members on shift.
Provide customer service and work toward store service and business goals.
Assist the General Manager with all aspects of store operations.
Uphold company policies, safety standards, and the brand image.
Train and coach team members to achieve product, service, and image standards.
Develop organizational and inventory skills.
Operate store equipment, including tending the oven.
Resolve problems and take ownership of issues.
Manage time and multitask in a competitive work environment.
Create a fun, positive environment for customers and team members while taking orders.
Schedule and manage labor, attendance, and punctuality.
Learn and implement marketing tools.
Manage store cleanliness and follow board of health standards.
Use accurate cash-handling procedures.
Work with team members to achieve store goals.
